Span goes 0-3. Not good for a lead-off hitter with his team down 5-1 and with a runner on 3rd.

Span's been the lone bright spot this season. I think he's allowed a bad game here and there.

We probably should have expected it, with him possibly still being a little shaken after crashing into the wall to catch a fly ball.

Burnett was almost out of his jam, having induced two flyouts, then gave up a single to Wilson.

Burnett then gives up a single to Trout that scores Kendrick. Certain guys in the bullpen are going to have to perform better if they don't want to be sent down to the minors or sent through waivers, esp. Maloney and Swarzak
