Good thinking -- their pen should be tired after last night.

He's pitching better than he had the last few starts, but the defense has made some big plays behind him too.

Seems like the Twins are infecting their opponents lately with the error bug. I like it

Actually, I may have sold Pavano a little short there. He is pitching very well, getting ahead of hitters and keeping the ball down (for the most part).

Dozier gets the job done again with his second sac fly.

Casilla owes 100 pushups for that at bat. No reason not to work the count. Ya Pavano has pitched well today. Working fast which is to his benefit.

My guess is Mauer asked Gardy to take him out of the lineup since the BrewCrew has a front line starter on the mound and he doesn't want to put his precious OBP on the line against any top pitcher.
My guess is you don't like Joe Mauer much, make no bones about it and it kind of makes most of what you say meaningless.

Great at bat by Dozier. Questionable strike call did not phase him, fouls off some tough pitches at 0-2 and generates the sac fly. That is not the at bat of a rookie.

Good game for Pavano. Nice low pitch count and doing well.

Revere and Dozier are going to be Gardy favorites, and rightfully so. I would like to see Willingham DH a few times a week as well as Morneau, with Mauer and Doumit DH-ing the rest. A pretty consistent roster rotation could keep guys fresh, give the prospect Revere 4 starts a week, maintain speed and power balance, and basically keep the guys up, up (it comes down to Plouffe vs. Valencia . . . or Burroughs . . .). Develop every other prospect at Rochester, save for Hendriks (maybe).

Pavano's day is done. Really encouraging outing by him today though....hopefully he can build on it the next time out.

I noticed her as well... I forget to watch the game at times.
