Two predictions: 1) It will take six or more runs to win today's game. 2) Somebody who currently has zero homers for the Twins will go deep today.

I just turned on the game. Did they really just sacrifice in the first inning?

Please tell me that I misunderstood the split-second clip I saw.

Mastroinanni hits like a pitcher, I have no issue with it.

They did it because Revere isn't fast enough to steal second.

Sure looked like he was bunting for a hit to me.

Yeah... The was a dumb move no matter how you look at it. You don't play for one run in the first. Let Revere steal second if you think it's that important to get him out of the double play. He'll get there, he's fast enough.

You know you're a legitimate power threat when the third baseman charges home when you're swinging and still manages to catch the ball you hit over his head.

    1. Atta boy Plouffe

    2. Morneau is hacking like Delmon Young, no discipline.

After 6 consecutive strikeouts, Plouffe finally gets another home run -- his 15th of the year.
