Well that rally ended in an awful hurry. After Mauer's double scored Span, cutting the lead to 2, we had 2nd and 3rd with with nobody out.
Then Willingham, Morneau and Plouffe went down on a grand total of 4 pitches.

If Willingham hits or even grounds out to the opposite field, the Twins tie this game up. I'm just saying. Not advancing Mauer lost this.Quote:
