I thnk it's safe to say... Trevor has given himself a little bit of the benefit of the doubt and he will be penciled into the lineup at 3B for the Twins for a long period of time. He could go back to struggling and the Twins will give him some time to see if he can get back to what he is doing right now.

I had my doubts... I still have some... But... Holy Cow... The Job belongs to him... Can anyone argue that? Congrats to Trevor!!!

I want to believe this, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Most fans were saying the same thing about Valencia his rookie year. Things change and too often for the Twins they change for the worse. But let's enjoy his play today and hope that it continue for many years.

Valencia has been having some 2 home run games in Rochester, so maybe people will start arguing if Valencia stays hot and Plouffe cools down. Or maybe Valencia can be traded for pitching.

This seems to confirm that Plouffe is a lot less productive with men on base.

According to pitchtrax that 3rd called strike on Span was a definite ball. Liriano has had several closer pitches all be called balls.

I remember there's some player from the 60s or 70s that had a ridiculous HR/RBI ratio. I seem to recall him playing for the Orioles but this is only a vague recollection.

Yeah... Your Right... What was I thinking... Put Casilla over at 3B. Just look at that GDP stat... 6 Double Plays with Men on Base and none with the Bases Empty. No Sacrifices at all with the bases empty either.
