Can anyone give me commentary on the homers? I'm following the game by internet on mlb.com.

This inning has been good for the team slugging percentage.

Why play an extreme shift, then throw a bunch of pitches on the outer half that are just begging to be hit the other way?

The Hammer's was very long to left field. Moreau hit his about 10 rows deep in right centerish. Both were obviously home runs coming off the bat.

I guess it is just a bad day for the 2B position all around.

The team's message seems to be that they can out hit Nishi's defense. This is good. I did spit up in my mouth laughing at Nishi's fancy defense earlier.

Doumit's HR just made it out, but hit on the screws. A very solid liner.

Of course Nishi make two outs in the same inning. We can win Snepp, in spite of Nishi.
