Put him out for 8? He's more of a threat to himself than the Tigers this far.

I'm not familiar with Mastro's defense. He's better in the OF right? How good is his defense in the OF and how good a second base does the guy play. I agree, I'd like to find a place for him to play daily and see if he can continue to perform.
Man is born free, but everywhere he is in chains.

From my eyes... He's a nice OF defender. No idea about 2B but I know he has been taking grounders nearly everyday.
Gardy most likely won't experiment against the Tigers. With the Tigers in a pennant chase but I think he should do it on Friday against Seattle. Nothing hurt in that game... Let's see. Mastro at 2B.
Im completely serious. Anyone have Gardy's cell number... I'm calling him.

With a .314/.240 L/R batting split, maybe Doumit should just hit from the left side.... while writing this Doumit makes it a foolish point with that homer. Atta boy!

So I started Lucroy over Doumit in my fantasy matchup. Oops... And it was my only possible lineup decision to make with a light schedule.

But with the current lead, it's a good time to eat some innings, I guess.

Twins Minor League Report (5/23): Baxendale,...
I’ve been following the Twins minor league system pretty much daily for the past eight years. I can honestly say that I have not seen a pitcher have an opening stretch like DJ Baxendale has had this...
