Correct me if I'm wrong but postponed games have to be made up if possible? Even if it's two teams not in playoff contention.

Usually, but when it happens this late in the season sometimes scheduling gets in the way - the teams don't play each other again and there are no common off days.
If one of the games this weekend isn't completed, it might get moved to Target Field and played next week when the Royals are in town. They also have a common off-day (Mon. Sept. 17) where is could be played in KC. That day comes in the middle of a Royals homestand and right at the start of a road trip for MN.Last edited by IdahoPilgrim; 09-01-2012 at 02:22 PM.

There are going to be two games today: One starts at 3:10 P.M. Central, and the next game starts either at 6:10 p.m. or 1/2 hour after the 1st game ends, whichever one is later.

And we're off! Old-style back-to-back DH. Been a while since I've seen one of these.

Man, DeVries has got to work on getting his pitch count down. 20+ pitches for 4 batters. That would be OK if it was an anomaly, but he does that all too often.

Here's something you don't see everyday - intentionally walking Willingham to load the bases for Morneau.

Nice to see Parmelee crush that homerun. Hopefully he can continue to hit throughout Sept.

I wonder if Hochevar is going to be available in the off-season. He would fit right in to the Twins rotation.

Twins offense showed up today for both games, especially with Mauer getting the Twins' first grand slam this f%*#(#* year!
