Yes they lose the series, or yes they win it?

Vasquez is looking pretty good so far. Good movement, keeping the ball down, throwing strikes.

The bases loaded walk is the most unacceptable thing in baseball. Throw a friggin' meatball. Make the hitter beat you.

The Twins are getting solid contact on Sale but it's getting them nowhere. Another night of bad luck for a bad team.

By opening day, the Twins really need figure out how it has become so ridiculously easy to steal bases against them, and take some steps to fix it.

I only caught the last 2 innings. Another game where the Twins never had a chance?

Dang. Not much to lament about. It is the last month of play in a uber losing season - sad as it is. I'll leave this thread post with a Bukowski poem...
there's a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I'm too tough for him,
I say, stay in there, I'm not going
to let anybody see
you.
there's a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I pour whiskey on him and inhale
cigarette smoke
and the whores and the bartenders
and the grocery clerks
never know that
he's
in there.
there's a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I'm too tough for him,
I say,
stay down, do you want to mess
me up?
you want to screw up the
works?
you want to blow my book sales in
Europe?
there's a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I'm too clever, I only let him out
at night sometimes
when everybody's asleep.
I say, I know that you're there,
so don't be
sad.
then I put him back,
but he's singing a little
in there, I haven't quite let him
die
and we sleep together like
that
with our
secret pact
and it's nice enough to
make a man
weep, but I don't
weep, do
you?

Examining Oswaldo Arcia's recent struggles
Figuring hitters out, a baseball lifer told me recently, is like trying to untangle a giant knot. At first you just try to attack it in the easiest manner possible. If that does not work, you pick...
