Is anyone watching this battle to see who has the worst team in the AL?

Yep, I am. I'm cheering for Mauer and Parmelee (and he's not even playing tonight). Don't care too much about the rest.

I'm rooting for Hammer to go ape**** over the last two weeks, 40 is still within reach.

Yep. He ripped that ball into left. Too bad it was right at Carrera.

I don't understand how the Indians batters can see with all that shrubbery in centerfield.

Tell me about it! Stadium architects including local flavor in the ballpark design - what nerve!

Plouffe should have tried to catch that ball with his face. It might have been more effective.

Trevor still isn't used to being ~10 feet closer to the plate... Not entirely unexpected. Hopefully it's something he can shore up during the offseason and Spring Training.

I feel a bit like Dick watching to see if Mauer can win another batting title.

You're being awfully generous with the usage of "can be" and "sometimes."

Usually I try to look for the best in people rather than the worst.

    Sometimes that's easier than others.

I'm trying something different tonight. I've got the audio off, and I'm listening to Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake while watching the TV.

The novelty has been interesting if nothing else.
