Doumit catching Deduno. I put the over/under on past balls at 3. Any takers?

I wonder if one of these catchers can play left field.

With that lineup I don't see how we can win today. There is absolutely no power in that lineup. It's not good when all 3 of our 20+ HR hitters are not playing.

I voted 'no' again, because every vote that I've made has turned out to be wrong.

Here's to keeping a good (for the team) and bad (for me) streak going.

Another 7 innings for the bullpen today.

    But none for Slama.

Irritated eye. Does anyone know what happened?

And more importantly, since when is Deduno's ability to see important to his success on the mound?

Lucky for Deduno they got him out before Yanks crush that 'nasty' stuff that's produced a 4.58ERA.
Duensing actually neutralizes the lefties like Ibanez/Chavez who were only playing due to a righty. Gardy couldnt come up with that idea himself

Apparently he had something going on with his vision where he was having trouble seeing the baseball to the point that he was flinching noticeably even trying to catch soft tosses back to the mound from the catcher/umpire. I'll go ahead and put that near the top of strange events list.

Granderson is really well spoken and eloquent for someone who is like that.

Is this our respecting the game against playoff teams lineup?

I don't even care if he turns out to be terrible, I just want the chance to see it.

Hell, we've had three years of confirmation now that Drew Butera is an epically putrid hitter, why can't we get one month of Slamatime?
