    Over the years, the MLB All-Star game has taken on a whole new feeling and meaning following the disaster that was the 2002 All-Star game which ended in a tie. Since then, Bud Selig has reorganized the game and has given it a new sense of meaning by giving home-field advantage to the winning league of the game.
