Thanks Seth. Not many games but you made it interesting.
This is great, guys. Really fun to read.
Suggestion? A link to the box score for each game would be nice if it is readily available.
Whay are comments here being deleted?
I was expecting the Twins to trade one of their CF's, but not both. Who does this leave in CF? Mastro? Do we think that any of our outfield prospects are ready to go? Will it be decided in ST?
Like Liam Hendriks, Dozier makes me like him more simply by being on your podcast and presenting himself he way he does. Consider that vs. what Alexi Casilla has to offer (and next year at, what, 1.5 million more?).
Great to see Adrian Salcedo, Alex Wimmers, and Jason Wheeler all get out there and toss some solid outings. I was a little worried there for a bit with Wimmers in the contol department, ended up with 3 BB's and 4 K's ? so theres room for improvement but he did a solid job for first EVER Eastern League start.
Lots of hitters crushed the ball on Monday, including Brian Dozier, Miguel Sano, Levi Michael, Daniel Santana, Eddie Rosario to name just a few.

I beleive Shibuya is next in line to start for Beloit. I wonder when Corey Williams will get some action.
I think Pavano will pitch better than predicted, I think he could be in the high 3's, 3.89, and, you have Scott Baker really high, this is a big year for him, I think he will be pretty good this year if healthy. You have him at 3.4 walks per nine, if he has that he won't even be in the rotation. Valencia you have way higher than last year, I am going to say Valencia .260, 15HR. I think Valencia starts getting frustrated and goes downhill, maybe Hughes finishes the season for him.
Great update. I think you missed Danny Rams at Ft. Myers. 0 for 4 against Twins according to this http://www.news-press.com/article/20...yssey=nav|head

Let's hope his perseverance pays off...I'll be rooting for him!
I personally would really like to see Luke Hughes as our 2B. I don't know if Casilla is that much of an upgrade defensively over Hughes. Last year was the first time I started seeing improvement defensively, but he still makes some bonehead plays on plays that should be a lot easier. I know Hughes hasn't done much defensively, but if you put Hughes in the lineup, that puts a chance of about 15-18 more HR, 20-25 more RBI, with the lineup ahead of him I think he would give a bigger lift of going through that lineup, once you get to Revere/Casilla, nobody is going to be scared of either of them. I think if Casilla could master the art of the walk, and SB, he becomes a much bigger threat. One more thing, if Plouffe, Hughes start, you lose speed, you gain much more power threat, I do think if I am playing the Tigers and Cabrera is at third I go with the speed all day, it will be interesting how Gardy uses the combos of Doumit, Morneau, Mauer, Plouffe, Hughes, Parmalee, I would rather have Parmalee down for a little while longer, but there is potential there now.
Bashore is a really strange release. I don't understand that move at all.
Bashore is another release from my top 50..... eventually my top 50 will become a top 35. Hope some of these guys can catch on elsewhere. My kid got an autograph from Cates when he was 11. He stood eye to eye with him. Watching Cates get tossed from a game is one of my fav minor league moments.
I can think of three off the top of my head...Baker, Mauer, Morneau. No three guys are more ready to celebrate a division win after already celebrating clinching a playoff spot. %2006%
Derek Christensen - something doesn't add up here. He's young, he has good numbers. Why not try to trade him? Did the kid ask for his release?

It sounds like Stuif is dealing with a shoulder and foot thing coming into camp too.
