  1. VOTE: Most Iconic Twins Moment

Earlier this week, the Sporting News released their list of the most iconic moment for each MLB team. Some teams are tied to some of the best moments in the history of the sport while other teams top moments aren't too memorable outside of their home market. That's the nature of these kinds of lists.

For Twins fans, it is pretty easy to put Kirby Puckett's walk-off home run in Game 6 of the 1991 World Series at the top of the list. The '91 World Series might be the best Fall Classic ...
  2. Mean Routine (Twins at As - Games 152-155)

Memory Lane Trips (Twins 6 As 8 -- Game 152)

In 2006, I watched Boof Bonser take the mound against the Oakland As. I was close to Torii Hunter when he tripped up and misplayed a ball. I watched a good season end.

Now the As are looking pretty good and the Twins are collapsing their way to 90+ losses. Again. Third time in a row.

Nighttime is getting dark, and these games are just little tombstones in a season so forgettable you couldn't describe it by mentioning ...
  3. The Future of Ron Gardenhire

At the end of last season, things must have been a little tense around the Ron Gardenhire household. The Twins were coming off of back-to-back 90-loss seasons and Gardenhire only had one season left on his current contract. It was inevitable for some changes to take place and almost all of Gardy's coaching staff would not be hired back or would be reassigned.

The sporting world can be cruel when a team isn't performing well on the field. Twins fans weren't used to this kind of shake-up ...
  4. Friday Links-N-Thinks

It is hard to imagine that this time last year there were temperatures in the 70s or higher for parts of Twins Territory. There are only a handful of days left until Opening Day and there seems be plenty of snow left on the ground. Fans in North Dakota and northern Minnesota are still digging out of the most recent blizzard and it's hard to believe baseball is only a few days away.

The World Baseball Classic wrapped up in the middle of the week so most players are back in camp for ...

Most sports fans are well aware that the Super Bowl was played last night. Those that watched the game also know that one of the biggest story lines of the night was when a power surge caused the lights to go out in the Superdome. It took about a half an hour for the whole ordeal to get worked out and for the players to get back on the field.

The Twins played under the Metrodome roof for close to three decades and there are bound to be a few mishaps ...
