I've noticed that video issue at times. (I was hoping to embed the spectacle that was Turandot, but MNOP is as stingy with embeddable video as MLB...I do hope that TVoR and CCP enjoyed it as much as my wife and I did...even if there was a notable lack of highlight reel defense)
NM. I see now. It's a video we need to embed.
"which would look something like this to the Vanimal" Is there supposed to be a link there or something? BTW, The Voice of Reason and The Chatty Chatty Princess saw Turandot the night before.
You left out fire and brimstone coming down from the skies, rivers and seas boiling, forty years of darkness, earthquakes, volcanoes, the dead rising from the grave, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, and finally, mass hysteria.
Thank you Peanuts. These articles will give me a whole new way to look at our Twins this year. That could prove very helpful at times.
No, I'm just giving you the two options to keep things simple.

Great story.
So very true. Well said.
Thanks for some refreshing candor during this season of complaint.
Haha, great post.
Thanks for commenting guys. Jim--You're right, if everyone votes like an economist then we're bound for screwy outputs (of course most economists count on people--like me--not acting like economists) most of the time...so if most did perhaps they'd change their view point...ultimately it's a big fat can o' worms. OldManWinter--I like the "Don't want to vote for anyone? THEN YOU CAN'T VOTE FOR ANYONE!!" thought...at the very least you don't cost anyone who other people do have an opinion about. (An as to your Barry B/Tony O question--Tony's 15 years led to a slash line of .304/.353/.476 and 220 HRs; Barry's 15 years pre-steroids (lucky coincidence) led to a slash line of .289/.412/.567 and over 400 HRs)
Opinion: writers who send empty ballots back maybe ought to forfeit their next years voting rights. If they cannot make decisions on the candidates they ought not skew the results by an empty ballot.
I would vote for Jack Morris in a heartbeat. Ace of three WS winning pitching staffs? Longevity? Feared? He should have already been elected. How do Barry Bonds pre-hormone days compare with with Tony Oliva? Tony O played 1600+ games, career BA .300+, etc. If writers cannot elect Tony O because "his career was too short", how many games did Bonds play before he started to cheat? How do those stats compare?
It's an interesting approach and one I haven't given thought to before. Now, if EVERYONE took that same approach, it would really screw around the numbers, wouldn't it?
Hey PFH. Top Notch, Top Notch! Except for have a great holiday weekend - that is all I have to say.
It is, afterall, a slice of life. Sometimes things simply do not work out. This year was a year to adjust expectations ... having done that some time ago I am still watching (and even enjoying) most games.
Damn PFH. You need to get your dog to obedience school!
Blackburn's and Nishioka's bad performances are significantly more chronic than just a "rough spell at your job" to use your analogy. To put it in more accurate terms of those real world jobs, If the Twins were Allstate Insurance, Blackburn would be the salesman with the lowest sales totals for the last two years - not in the company - but in the entire insurance industry. If Nishioka waited tables at Applebees's he would try to hit on your wife, mess up your dinner order and then spill your tray of dishes on the way out from the kitchen. Employers don't hesitate to dismiss those kinds of employees rather quickly. The main thing keeping the Twins from acting sooner was the financial obligation to both.
