• Series Preview: Twins vs. Angels, 4/15

It has been a rough week for the Twins. After opening the season 4-2 with series wins over Detroit and Baltimore, the Twins have reeled off five losses in a row against the Royals and Mets.

Thankfully, the Angels have been just as bad this season. With only four wins in their first 12 games, Los Angeles' AL team has disappointed in this young season.

To liven up the woeful offense, the Twins have called up young outfielder Oswaldo Arcia from AAA Rochester. OPSing at a meager 1.293 over his first 34 ABs in AAA, Arcia hasn't had trouble hitting anywhere in quite some time and I'm sure he hopes to continue that trend in Minneapolis this week. On the pitching front, Liam Hendriks has been returned to Rochester and replaced by Saturday's starter, Scott Diamond, who gave up 4 ER in 4.1 IP against the Mets.

There will be more if the Twins keep falling behind in the early innings and never rallying.

And then KC strikes out Trout and Hamilton. Go figure.

Do you know anything about catching fly balls hit off of Kevin Correia?”

At least Mauer is getting the job done -- we need at least one run here.

Died of a direct impact to his cranium from a KC moonshot, actually. Just one of nearly 2 dozen brave Americans to suffer the affliction.

      Every. Year.
