• Series Preview: Twins @ White Sox, 4/19

After having two games postponed and a scheduled day off in the last week, the Twins look to pick up where they left off against the Angels and carry their two game winning streak into US Cellular Field to face their division rival, the Chicago White Sox.

Joe Mauer was on fire against the struggling Angels, collecting eight hits in the two game series. He hopes to continue pushing his batting average toward .400 and has already collected two home runs in this young season.

Vance Worley, on the other hand, has struggled mightily with the Twins early in the 2013 campaign. Worley, a trade pickup from Philadelphia in the offseason, looks to get on track and lower his ugly 10.30 ERA and restore our faith in his ability to get batters out.

Boy, if you were Worley, you'd have to be thinking, "What do I have to do to win a game?"

Not to nitpik, but Parmelee didn't have to run home in foul territory. If he runs on the line that throw probably hits him in the back.

I'm thrilled for hicks that he's drawing walks, and maybe that's a sign that the rest of it will start coming around.

That being said, if I'm an opposing manager and I see a my fresh reliever walk Aaron Hicks, a watercolor's life is immediately forfeit.

The guy that comes into a game with a 10 plus era has no business whatsoever thinking that.

He earned a victory today - this loss (if it is) is on the bats.

Peavy looked pretty sharp. I'll give the hitters a pass.

Colabello hit his 6th today... .352 average so far.

I think Colabello wants to play in Minnesota.

At least Konerko is out of the game if it goes extras. Where I managing, I'd be reluctant to take a bat like that out of the lineup for such a minor baserunning advantage.
