  • Series Preview: Twins vs White Sox, 5/13-5-/15

Before coming home to face the Orioles for three games at home, Minnesota made a trip around the American League, faced three over .500 teams, and returned with a 5-5 record.

Upon greeting the Orioles for three games, they immediately decided to pitch three consecutive games of batting practice, allowing 23 runs over the weekend set.

Thankfully, the Orioles are gone and the Twins are set to welcome the Chicago White Sox to Target Field. The White Sox and their unbalanced attack of no-hitting, excellent pitching may be the needed ingredient for the Twins starting staff to get back on track.

I get confused sometimes... I might have went into the West Brom discussion thread by mistake.
They actually have had a decent year.

I would just like to point out that we are outhitting our opponent -- a rarity, even when we win.

A marketing firm... Madison Avenue Office... A staff of researchers... Creative Artists drawing up story boards... Creative Copywriters... Marketing professionals with years of experience you would have to assume... Had a pitch meeting with Kia. On the line... A competed for advertising contract with a major company that is large enough to keep all these marketing professionals employed for awhile. The best of the best marketing firms all in competition for the contract.

This Pitch meeting would be huge... The people directly involved with the pitch were probably practicing in front of their bathroom mirror while shaving and putting on lip stick knowing that major revenue was on their shoulders.

in consideration of all that... I find it really strange that Rodents in a Kia Soul was the idea to pitch.

Even stranger that Rodents in a Kia Soul was what Kia bought.

The level-headed, thought provoking posters over at WSI must be crestfallen right about now.

I wonder what Arcia yells to call off Dozier.

      "Lo Tengo... Lo Tengo"

      "Mina"

      "Bola"

Don't look now, but Hernandez is putting together a decent game after that first inning.

On a game thread... You take all the credit you want... Premature or belated or right on time.

The only thing that is not allowed are obvious jinxes.

And Jokin... After the Ramirez double... I'm not so sure that a jinx was not just leveled by you.
