• Series Preview: Twins @ Brewers, 5/27-5/30

The Twins have fallen apart in the last few weeks. After staying near the .500 mark for the first six weeks of the season, the Twins lost ten in a row before winning one of a four game set against the Tigers.

The bad news is that the rotation is in shambles and the offense isn't producing. The good news is that the Twins are heading to Milwaukee, a team that has struggled as mightily as the Twins, recording a 19-29 record over their first 48 games. The series opens with two games in Miller Park, followed by two more games in Target Field.

Can the Twins right the ship against the Brewers in Milwaukee?

Jiggs up Kev, and if Mauer calls for that cutter again he should be fined!

"Greetings from the John" just doesn't do it for me.
The Talking Heads wisely didn't publish a song called Take Me To The Brian, either.

When Gomez is locked in, he has such a pretty power swing. It's just ruthless.

LOL. Sadly, your very clever reference is likely lost on at least half of the crowd on TD, who think "The Boss" is just that fascist swine that signs his weekly paycheck.

Hopefully my earlier reply indicates that at least this old geezer got it.

I guess Correia comes out to begin the 7th. The Twins bats are looking like KC and then the bullpen are going to have to make this one-run lead last; thank goodness for the two "insurance runs" in the 5th.

Another HR by Mauer? I can live with the increased SO if this keeps up.

Both are healthy and Joe Mauer has twice as many homers as Justin Morneau on May 28.

I told someone that it was originally written "Revved up like a Deuce". He looked at me and said seriously. "that makes no sense".

Apparently "Wrapped up like a Douche" does tho.

That's Fine... I'm more concerned with Morneau having as many homers as Escobar.

ESPN's p-b-p feed initially had it as a double. Was it contested/reversed, or just a mistake by the person typing it in?
