  • #Hangout and Talk Twins; Episode 4

Join Seth and I tonight at 8:30 as we're joined by ESPN1500's Brandon Warne.

We'll recap the flurry of activity we've seen since last Tuesday night as well as wrap up what's been going on in the catching market over the last couple of days. I'm sure we'll also talk about starting pitching and deviate from the plan that we have.

If you have any questions you would like for us to answer, please feel free to leave them in the comments below, or ask them in the chat screen during the live show.

If we have time, we'll talk about the Twins Hall of Fame ballot and maybe even MLB's ballot that was released early last week.

1)Do you see the twins doing anything to improve the offense - which as it stands now has alot of "maybes" and "what ifs" in the current lineup with some of the projections more wishful thinking then any type of possibility. With the idea that Buxton and Sano probably won't be impacted players until atleast 2016. Along ways off.. What if any moves do you see the twins who set a record for strikeouts last season and I think where 25th in runs scored actually making to improve the offense. 25th is pretty bad. Hmmm, Terrible starting pitcher and 25th in runs scored...no wonder the twins won 66 games last season

      2) What is the biggest difference in Vance Worley we saw last season vs his good year in philly besides good and bad. Is it velocity dropped, location was way off, his pitches lost their bite, AL/NL, Health etc...Pitchers just don't fall off the map like that.

3)Who (if anyone) would either of you take in the rule 5 draft?

4)Where do you think the payroll will end up at it seems pretty clear that Terry Ryan isn't done yet... Well, atleast I hope not - we still have the winter meetings.

What reclamation project would you go after? Halladay, Johan, Daniel Hudson? What is the latest on the Korean pitcher Yoon?

Two Rule 5 guys we should be looking at : Tommy Kahnle with the Yankees - hard throwing RHP and Seth Rosin - Ex Gopher who throws gas and is with the Phillies. He was the Gophers stud when they won the Big 10 and would fit well here.

Just saw that we drafted Rosin out of high school but he went to the U instead of signing then. Front office must know him well

I would love to see Johan back in the TC. I think for the right price he would be a great addition

Twins need to take care of their draft picks....All they are doing is bandaiding and to sign 3 and 4 year deals seems like a lot....Gibson, Meyer, Wimmers (major league ready), logan, etc. get a program to get them healthy....All proven winners....
