The Twins kept rolling last night, defeating the Indians 14-3 and sending Cleveland to its tenth consecutive loss. Now just two games behind the Tribe for third place, the Twins send Deduno to the mound, hoping to reign in his control just long enough to deliver Minnesota another win.

Built on the back of a ten run second inning, the Twins chased Cleveland starter McAllister out of the game after he retired only five Twins batters. This bodes well for Minnesota, who now play Cleveland two more times while the Indians deal with a depleted pen during their long losing streak. Tonight, the Indians hope for a solid start from Corey Kluber, who has only made one start for the team, going a rather disastrous 4.1 innings and giving up six earned runs in the process.

By the way, Justin Morneau is on fire, posting a 1.009 OPS since the All-Star break and jacking his 200th career home run last night. Will he keep it up? Is the old Justin back? Tell us your opinion in the TD discussion below!

2-0 pitch. You can't be hitting that ball on the ground, the other way.

He was barely behind it but I understand your point.

Manship has Duncan right where he wants him. Eight feet from a homerun.

Nishioka? Don't care. De Vries? Meh. Blackburn? Don't like him. But Deduno? I earnestly want to see the guy succeed.

And I have no idea why. It might have something to do with the absurdity of his pitching style and the fact that he has absolutely no idea where the ball is going once it leaves his hand.
The only thing missing are an extra 4 or 5 completely uncontrollable MPH on that fastball.

And when Nishioka isn't sucking, he's being extremely unlucky.

Nice play by Cabrera to make up for his earlier misplay.
