Gibson should NOT be called up...

Albers has shown the constituency the Twins say they are looking for. Can the twins resist the pressure to bring Gibson up, or will they do the right thing and bring Albers up?

    Wow, looking to get flamed?

I have no problem with it. I believe that both will be up fairly soon.

I suspect you about to hear from some who disagree.

    Peace to you, huhguy.

Both should be up, pronto. Gibson should get some MLB work in and Albers should get a look so that he can be viewed as the Swarzak successor (a left-handed long reliever with a righty prominent rotation makes sense, and he can also be a situational LOOGY in the 6th or 7th innings when not getting much work).

I agree that Gibson should stay in AAA. Although he has shown more "consistency" his last 3 starts by abandoning his previous good-bad-good pattern, he has been underwhelming. In his last 3 starts Gibson has an ERA of 2.84, which is excellent, but he has just 14 K and 8 BB in 19 innings. I would like to see him improve that ratio before he is promoted.

why not both.....Diamond is proving many correct that he was a one year wonder & has regressed to his 2011 AAA numbers & Mike Pelfrey can leave anytime & whomever is the replacement is a step up.
