Josh Willingham's 2012 ISO of .271 is more than Ben Revere, Jamey Carroll, Drew Butera, and Alexi Casilla COMBINED (0.56, 0.46, 0.93, 0.72 respectively)

Of those who have thrown more than 25 innings this year, Scott Diamond ranks 1st in ERA, 4th in FIP, and 3rd in xFIP

Drew Butera has a lower FIP pitching this year than Scott Diamond.

    Jamey Carroll OBP: 337
    Jamey Carroll SLG: 299

That is no small feat. His SLG is only 45 points higher than his BA and nearly 40 below his OBP.

I wonder if that's some sort of clever inside joke or just a needlessly classless moment.

Here is a fangraphs look at the WAR from the top 3 members of each rotation in the majors. It was from an Angels article showing that their dynamite rotation of Weaver, Wilson and Haren is only OK but it also shows the Twins and their ineptitude. Sadly the number goes down when expanded to 5 starters. Diamond, Liriano and Pavano are the only starters with a positive WAR.

Trevor Plouffe, after entering a game in the 7th and finishing on May 4th: 45 PAs, .108/.267/.216

Trevor Plouffe, after getting regular play, entering the AS game: 254 PAs, .254/.327/.548 (provided the Twins close this game out and he doesn't come up again in Sunday night's game.)

Trevor Plouffe tied Harmon Killebrew (who did it 3 times) as the only Twins player to hit 17HR in a 39 gm span.

Fun with numbers is supposed to be depressing numbers. Stop spreading the optimism.

Through July 6th, the Twins were undefeated in extra inning games.

After July 6th, the Twins have lost every extra inning game.

Already had! Although you fall well below Bremer's blame level since he did it more and had a wider audience. Ended the 8th heading to commercial talking about them being 3 outs from a shutout and then started the 9th going on and on about never seeing the Rangers shut out at The Ballpark.

And no, I don't believe in jinxes...but it's fun to blame people! Haha.

Delmon Young has 9 walks on the season, the lowest amount for all qualified players.

He has 359 plate appearances. That one walk every 39.8 plate appearances. One walk every 10.8 games. One walk every 98.2 innings.

Words cannot express how abysmal that is.
