Fun With Numbers 2012
Twins have allowed 69 runs in the first 4 innings this year.
4 teams have allowed fewer than that in ALL of their innings.

Yes, we know the bullpen is pretty suspect, and the offense has been very hot & cold so far, but if the starting pitching doesn't get better, we also know we are in for another 90+ loss season. Sad part is we just have to hope it gets better as it's not like we have a lot of choices we can run out their in place of the guys currently struggling. Don't worry though, "Starting Pitching is a strength of the Team" according the GM prior to the season.

That's too bad. It was a fun thread on "the other" board.

Lawrence George "Moose" Stubing had the same number of wins in his 8-game career managing the Angels as he had hits in his 5-game career playing for the Angels.

Bobby Korecky is the best hitter in Twins history with at-least one at bat.

The Kansas City Royals have never made the playoffs before or after George Brett's career.

This thread would be really cool if it were mostly about stuff happening this year.
