    Tom Gorzelanny

Tom Gorzelanny would be a decent SP to add. He could be used to keep Kyle Gibson's innings down if the Twins decide to copy what Atlanta did with Kris Medlen.

That is not a bad idea at all if he is healthy (is he?). That might be 200 good combined innings.

And he could double as good lefty out of the 'pen when necessary. A "super-Duensing" type.

This might work, but would rather have Lannan cheap if that is the direction you want to go.

I've always been a big fan of Gorzelanny. I think he'd be an excellent pickup.

Lannan is garbage. At least Gorzelanny can actually strike out guys and could be a starter or reliever.

No worse than Blanton or some of the others at the bottom of the list, Gorzelanny has been either good or very terrible usually the later

Gorzy isn't a starter, heck he's only thrown 140+ innings once in his whole career. That said, he's a very solid long reliever that could be a good paired starter with a guy that they want to keep innings down on.
