Thread: Chris Carpenter

Any interest in Chris Carpenter (the young one), pitcher from the Red Sox who has pretty decent minor league numbers. Just got bumped off their 40 man. Has to be better then a few of our guys on our 40 man.

I'd take him over just about all the AAAA arms the Twins have hanging around the 40-man including Roenicke, Theilbar, Swarzak, Robertson, Wood and even the smoke and mirrors Alex Burnett. Still, the Twins have had a shot at about a half dozen of these potential strikeout heavy arms and have so far passed on all of them.

He has walked too many batters at every level he has played.
