Correia starting Grapefruit League Opener
Looks like Kevin Correia is starting the Twins spring training opener on Saturday. That's partly because the team wants him to have two starts before he leave training camp on the 27th for the birth of his child.
I'd sure love to be wrong about this signing, at least for this year. After Correia, Shairon Martis, Ryan Pressly, Josh Roenicke, Tim Wood, Anthony Slama, Luis Perdomo and Bryan Augenstein are on the list to throw against the Orioles.

While watching the Twins thing on Kare 11 the other night it makes it sound like they're very high on Correia. Terry Ryan gave him a huge endorsement saying, "He can pitch a little".
