Berardino: Alex Meyer "all right" after being hit by ball
It sounds like he's going to be all right. He kept pitching, though with a screen in front of him. Clete Thomas was the bad guy....
The one who has something to worry about might be Meyer. I mean, Clete Thomas hit one of your pitches. You deserve what you get when that happens."I think it's going to be sore tomorrow," he said. "He got me pretty good. It's nothing that will sit me down or waste any time. Probably gave him too good of a pitch and ended up paying for it. It's all right."
Meyer smiled as he shook hands with Thomas, who no doubt apologized for his inadvertent blow.
"You've got nothing to worry about," Meyer said he told Thomas. "I know what you're trying to do.

On another note.... Mike Berardino looks like a real pro addition to the Pioneer Press. The Twins have great coverage guys this year.
