It's a long shot to say the least, but here's to hoping for Mr. Greenberg! Kudos to Jed Hoyer for entertaining the notion (sort of). I guess we'll see what happens.

Sounds like the Cubs have told him that this at-bat won't come at Wrigley. Maybe another team will give him a shot.

Looks like it has paid off. Greenberg signed with the Miami Marlins and will get that one at bat next Tuesday, likely against RA Dickey.
