I get the sense that the Twins have been focused for the first half of the year on being possible contenders this year. They haven't been focused on next year (at least for the ML club), and that...
I'm really interested in what happens with the roster between July 16th and July 31st. Seems like the Twins might be making a lot of moves, or they might surprise everyone and be relatively quiet.

This thread is really cool.
Thanks Jack for taking all these questions!

off topic, but this is my favorite Delmon memory:

For me, it can be a case by case thing. Like I said before, I don't blame the Twins for Worley's failure or success - I think Worley has always had the potential to be good, but he is a bit of a head...

I think they did identify the flaw in April of 2013, and he didn't make the adjustment.
Now that he's having some modest success, he's conveniently throwing everyone else under the bus for missing...

Nah. I blame Worley.
"For me, the offseason is a chance for me to actually get back on a normal eating...

So, bascially what I'm reading here is that Worley has no control over his own mechanics and only watches video if it's shown to him. He stunk last year, and it's everyone's fault but his own.

I think Morales' value will be based more on his track record - teams will assume this is like an extended spring training for him and base their offers on getting the player they chose not sign as a...
I think he was sent back to the same level he was at to continue working with the same instructors/coaches that he was working with before the call up. I can only imagine that there were specific...

I would argue that even his career norms would be reason enough to keep him around another year. Better than Fryer, Herrmann, and the younger guys like Stuart Turner and Mitch Garver are a couple...

here are the catchers that are likely free agents in 2015:
John Buck (34)
Ryan Doumit (34)
Nick Hundley (31) – $5MM club option
Gerald Laird (35)
Russell Martin (32)

That's the main benefit of extending Suzuki's contract. There's already a need to be filled in CF for at least 2015 (and possibly part of 2016, depending on Buxton's development), a hole in Left...

So, Does Jorge Polanco get his ML Debut today? Pinch hitting for P-Flo in the ninth, perhaps?
The other thing about 'Kevin Bacon' is that it sounds a little like the word "Separation," so Six Degrees of Separation became Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon... For baseball ... Six Degrees of Kenny...

To think, it only took about a year and a half to be sure he wasn't ready to play in the Majors. He was good enough and showed enough potential in AA to have the Twins trade away all their CF depth...

Bert is counting on at least one guy that speaks Dutch and translate.

If Arcia was in the HR Derby, would it have the opposite effect than the "slump" that other hitters complain about?
Vote Arcia for the Derby - it's his best hope!

At least this way the HR Derby would be shorter?
I was expecting this thread to focus on whether Joe had stopped using Head and Shoulders shampoo.
