It is very refreshing to know that Escobar cares about Twin's baseball. It is not often obvious when a player sells his soul to Satan.

Good idea, bad idea, who cares. It's a good thing to keep things fresh most of the time.

Sorry, I meant 10 games as I skipped over our series finally with the O's tomorrow. As far as OF's go on the Twin's 40 man roster, we have 2 who should not be called up as of yet - Arcia and Benson -...

Hey RB. I would like to think you know I am in Hicks' corner. It has been a rough first 5 games for him - very rough. His play has been comparable to the looks of Sandra Bernhard.
He needs to get...

Stepping aside my homage to my grandfather, I had earlier stated that you should let Hicks have a few more baseball series to right his ship. If he is batting .050 after 12-15 games and playing a...

In honor of my grandfather, I will use a quote he used quite often:
"It's time for Aaron to S@#T or get off the pot."

River Brian, you are a man of optimism - That's a compliment.
It seems apparent to me that Hicks has let this bad start to his season get into his head, and that is the thing that concerns me the...

Excellent win for the Twins.
As much as it pains me too say it, Aaron Hicks has looked awful thus far. Offensively he has looked over matched and tight and he looks pretty tightly wound while...
Of course all Twin's players are to be considered. Because I am in such a positive and peppy state of mind right now, the P's must have infiltrated my subconscious.
Oh, I have another one: The...
Pedro Florimon's final 2013 Offensive Stat Line:
Hell, we have a modern day "Wee" Willie Keeler in our midst... minus the stolen bases and runs scored of...
Before we start worrying about the parade route, I am of the opinion that we as Twin's Fans need to find a replacement for the ancient and obsolete Homer Hanky. I could very well see that hampering...

Geez, 2 wins in less than 24 hours.
I am not sure how to describe the feelings I am experiencing - could it be optimism? Could it be happiness? Could it be that I am feeling the effects of a few...
The pancreas is some serious "bleep". I truly hope Carl recovers from his infection, quits baseball without a second thought, and enjoys his life with his loved ones.
Any performance given in game one and two should be ignored or given a mulligan. 30-45 degree weather is not conducive for playing the game of baseball.
You will need a better and bigger bait to catch the fish you desire.
Not to steal this opportunity from Leviathan, but versatility leads to a better MLB opportunity, especially when you are athletic and able to play catcher and another position worthwhile.
Hello Mr. Brooks. Are you a man of religious faith?

Although the most value comes from Mauer when he is catching, the way the Twins used him last year seemed to work out well and might be the best plan to utilize Joe's talents in 2013.
My gut tells...

I will only comment on the song:
1. That song is straight out of one of the handful of Dirt Bike Movies from the 1980's.
2. After hearing this song I began having nightmares that I was stuck...
Merci. Vous êtes un homme très gentil.
I like it, but nah. Walker and Romero were 1st round picks that were suppose to be franchise leading players. It certainly did not work out for Walker, but the book is not written for Romero. Lohse...
Agreed. If only it was a buy low move and the 7.5M salary could be avoided. His acquisition would trump the Twin's Free Agent signings this past offseason.
Oops... I did not take into account the salary owed to him this season. 7.5M - Ouch! No one will eat that salary. If the Jays were to (eat his salary), I'd still take a chance and see if a change of...
Ricky Romero has been optioned to AAA by the Toronto Blue Jays. It makes one wonder if he may be falling out of favor in Toronto and needs a change of scenery.
In the last half week I put out a...
Here's my take:
1. 3 teams from the AL West make the playoffs.
2. Jason Heyward wins NL MVP (38 HR's, .332 BA, 125 RBI's).
3. Bud Selig steps down as Commish.
4. Mauer wins another...
