Raw power was starting to show prior to 2012, great range, had a terrible 2012 that led to a diminished outlook for his future.

LOL. This could be very true. Indians, Royals, and White Sox are all hovering around it each other it seems.
The guys at the top of the rotation get more starts since you can take advantage of off-days to give them more rest. This is a very bad idea.

I wouldn't worry too much. They are two very different prospects. Hicks has a lot more going for him than Benson.
I think it's a lot better to start Hicks in AAA, let him see some borderline major...

I agree completely that, long-term, Span is much more likely to stick as the every-day center fielder than Revere due to Revere's limitations with the bat and his arm. Span is a very good center...

I still don't really consider Cabrera a third baseman because I think, as the season wears on, Feilder and Cabrera will end up splitting most of their time between 1B and DH if Inge hits well enough...
