I hope the Royals swoop in and give Pelfrey a bigger offer.
or there is a clause in his contract that say he has to speed up his pace.

maybe a discussion for another day, but the broader issue here is (and Minnesota Twins fans are aware of this with past injuries) that concussions are not limited to the football field and hockey...

Mike Berardino tweeted yesterday
I think the 'good fit' isnt on the Twins end, but on Molitor's end.

Minnesota Twins hire Paul Molitor as coach - TwinCities.com
that should probably answer the questions "why now?" and "is Molitor is a manager in training?"

what about the years he went 12-14, 11-6 etc with essentially the same bad talent on the mid to late 90s?
Radke was good. Very good. He is in the Twins HoF. He wont be forgotten by those who...

when? when the attendance falls through the roof at Target Field and need a promotion to rally around.
but really, Radke is a good representative for the Twins and a great player and is the Twins...

Im not a smart enough baseball mind to figure this out, but is Ubaldo a 'better' version of Sam Deduno? (you know, live ball, doesnt quite know where its going, gets ground balls, etc)
the thing I am thinking about is that Twins fans have to let David Ortiz go.
There is a whole wave of Twins fans, young people to mid 2000's bandwagon fans to only want to bee seen at Target Field...
Kubel was not on the roster.
there has got to be a way to move that energy from burrowing into the catchers noggin to something else
padding on the front and back of the cage?
some sort of breakaway mask?
the 'outwards facing...
as best I can tell...
BOS: Breslow, Ortiz
PIT: Morneau, Liriano, Garrett Jones,
ATL: Luis 'I want to be the closer' Ayala
does 'outright' mean they are off the 40 man roster and are free agents, or do the Twins still own some sort of rights?
Aaron Hicks made some brilliant plays in the field.
As mentioned above, that throw at Yankee Stadium where he gunned down Vernon Wells was 'holy [redacted]!' worthy.
here is my prediction: Liam Hendriks to 'long man', Swarzak to a 6/7 inning role. Swarzak is following in the step of Matty Guerrier

Im not a Pelfrey fan because anytime there is a runner on base, the pace of the game slows way down. And Pelfrey allows a lot of base runners

I says a lot about the sad state of the starters, but Pressly has 73.1 innings pitched. That is good for 6th on the team, and 2nd most from the bullpen (miles behind Swarzak's 92.2)
schedule breakdown (in any sport. How the NFL schedule release gets days of coverage and then weeks of 'analysis' always baffles me.) but, like this year, a lot of home games to end the season.

but seriously, you should watch because you might see something that you might have never seen before. Like the other day when the Twins had no business winning that game against Darvish and a couple...

Swarzak needs 18 innings to hit 100 innings in relief
thats something to look forward too!

Rick Aguilera traded to Boston in July 1995, signed with the Twins in offseason

wait, the complaints are the Twins didnt get enough in return for Jamey Carroll? (who is 1-25 since joining the Royals)
I imagine if the Twins did get a player back, he would not be good enough...
4 HRs in 55 games played at 1B (roughly 1 HR every 14 games)
91 HRs in 897 games played at C (roughly 1 HR every 10 games)
it might make some difference, but Rawlings and SABR have teamed up and is sending a resource guide to the voters along with the ballots
New sabermetric component, SABR Defensive Index, revealed...
I not arguing for against Mauer moving to first permanently, but a name that comes to mind is John Olerud. Olerud hit more homeruns than Mauer ever would , but he hit for a good average and hit tons...

I'd rather see Herrmann in the lineup than Clete Thomas.
Anyway, Im not one to get overly worked up about roster construction and stuff, (Im not sitting in the GMs office listening to phone calls...
