Also Jamie Hirsch = hot. I went to college with her, but I doubt she'd have given me the time of day.

It is good. I was lucky to spend a day and night camping in January in the Jordanian desert Wadi Rum where they filmed the move. Stunning! And Lawrence is still a god in the minds of the Bedouins.

I think he must have played beer league softball over the winter. You send them every time assuming they can't make a throw from LF to home

Ouch. Even Berti is down on Vavra already.

  8. #106
I'm kind of surprised that Bert called out the Vavra on that play. Maybe they have the green light to be a bit more critical of certain people this year.

Will certainly take a few more innings like that one out of Pelfry

Indians announcers have Dick Bremer Disease and make a routine fly for the home team sound like it's outtathere.

Gladden thought it was a good call to send him, for what it's worth. Being aggressive when you're ahead early in the game.

Wow, how great is that. My wife and I have been globetrotting for the last 3 years. We haven't done the middle east yet. I'm envious.

Bad call sending Suzuki home, I didn't like that at all.

I'm not sure what game he is watching then. That wasn't being aggressive, that was being reckless

Big Pelf still looking sharp. Big Joe not so much. (He'll come around.)

I for one was most surprised how slow Zukie is. Doumit slow.

Gladdy must be back on the sauce. Sending the catcher home when the active player with the highest career batting average is in the on deck circle. There's aggressive, and there's dumb...and Dan missed the category this one fell into.

Globetrotting as in living abroad? My wife and I plan on doing that within a year or so. Any favorites? Feel free to PM if you don't want to derail the thread any further.

Agree that he will come around, but it sure does seem odd to see him in a slump like this. That always seemed to be one of his best assets was avoiding these.

Oh, you know Gladden. He's that typical shy, retiring type
