Willingham was gazelle-like on that play.

Heh ... hearing the radio announcers say 'And Willingham runs that down' ... well ... seeing is believing I guess.

Big inning for Gibson. He's struggled in the first and third and cruised through the second and fourth. I would sure like to see him go 6, but I doubt he will go more than that.

Nice job by Gibson so far. Way to many balls called, but now the strikes are taking the lead. Must be a tight zone today.

My impression is the HP ump has had a very fair, consistent, and slightly tight zone today.

Wonder if the broadcast team has a stat regarding how long it will have taken Gardy to get wins 901-1000 relative to other guys who've done it. Interesting that he and Kelly represent 20% of the guys who've won 1000 with the same team.

OK, any Cleveland hitter should deduct 20 points from their BA by season's end.

How is that a hit??? He would have been out by three steps.

Baseball statistics have become a sham.

Easy to tell we aren't watching FSN North. Karros just said that as a 1B we always assumed that pitchers weren't very athletic. Bert would not agree.

I think that goes for all baseball hitters on every team. But that's apparently how MLB wants it according to Stew.

Major leaguers cannot be expected to throw the ball from 10 feet away from first all the way to first.

Yeah, pretty consistent. I'd say more than slightly tight.
