How does that make you feel?
Pretty good actually, because he's still just that, a prospect. He shouldn't be here and this is what happens when you rush prospects. He still has a lot of upside.

Assuming the Angels hold on (i.e., absent divine intervention) there will be 17 teams with at least as many road wins as the Twins have wins.

Depressing. I wasn't expecting miracles this year, but I honestly thought this team was better than last year, and certainly capable of playing better than .250 baseball.

Oh well, maybe it's a blessing in disguise that we'll probably be out of it by Mother's Day. Now the front office won't be laboring under the illusion that we're 1 or 2 players away from competing this year.

Barring a major turnaround, I'm thinking fire sale at the deadline, major overhaul in the offseason.

I'd give my left nut for a guy like Weaver.

omg ...Carroll might not swing a big bat but he is straight up money with the leather ....990% fielding pct.

Ridiculous. What upside? He might someday be a servicable back of the rotataion starter, if everything goes right?

Doc & Hanson can't pitch but, Phillies & Braves sure can hit. Baseball can't be played on paper you got to do it on the field.

Is there a difference between right and left? The Twins have obviously been castrated - no right or left nuts required.

It looked good off Alexi's bat but it was not to be.

Just when you're convinced this team can go no lower...they put their back into it and dig the trench down another foot or two.

How does a team fall so far so quickly? Nice game Weaver. The ball was coming out of his hand really well.

He's 23 years old and can throw 5 different pitches, he can be a solid #4 guy, give him time. I'd also mention I don't believe he's our top prospect, I think that still goes to Gibson. As far as ridiculous goes, think what you like, you're entitled, people who live in glass houses though................

Kinda fitting though, don't you think? No pitching and now officially no hitting...............Elvis has left the building.

So that's what a legitimate top-of-the-rotation starter looks like.....

Good Lord is this depressing. A starting rotation that would get lit up by a lot of Division 3 college teams. A lineup the features at least 3 automatic outs every night. A closer that can't close and a defense full of guys playing out of position.

Talk about a recipe for disaster. It's like watching a troop of drunken baboons trying to hump a doorknob.
