    Beloit Gets the A's

    According to the A's twitter account, the team has signed a 2-year player development contract with the Beloit Snappers.

    I think the A's will be a good match for Beloit in terms of talent coming up. Certainly have more moving through the system than the Angels do.

    It looks to me like MLB teams could be doing the Affiliation Dance again in 2014. It appears that something like 19-20 "low A" affiliations could be up for renewal in 2014. Of course, several of those could renew long before the end of that season.
