How many games would a Twins pitcher have missed if they were hit in the head
like Fister was last night?

When making your estimate, don't forget the wasted treatment time due to the Twins' medical staff mistakenly diagnosing it as a very high ankle sprain...

that really was unbelievable. How did he stay in the game? I wonder how big the lump is today.

If it wasn't bad, four games. If it was bad, more than four games.

I think the real question is how quickly would some posters on TD throw the Twins' training staff under the bus if he were allowed to stay in the game after getting hit in the head.
And then how quickly the Twins' training staff would get thrown under the bus if he doesn't recover quickly "enough" for those same posters' preferences.
The schtick is getting old.

None. He wouldn't get hit in the head. It would have been a home run instead.

It should be how many seasons would Joe Mauer miss if he was hit in the head...
