Dave and I completed a trade tonight. I'm sure both of us have some bitter grapes about the players acquired and dealt.
Lincecum
Doumit
for
Pineda
Avila
2014 1st round milb pick

It's risky for both of us. Could end up being a disaster for one us, who that is is up in the air at this point.

I like the trade for Psuedo due to Avila and the #1 pick. However Lincecum could make this a huge win for Dave.
After the Perkins trade I'm back to +1 MLB'ers. I'll probably shop Bass/TWood although each could be a solid starter.

Hmm. I'm thinking I'm going to go with Giolito despite the TJ surgery. Too much ceiling to pass up. I just hope the guy in front of me doesn't swoop in and take him.

I also took the riskier higher upside Cuban. All of my favorites disappeared and it came down to him and Seager.

I was really hoping Stroman would slip to my second round pick. Oh well.

I really like Puig and thought about taking him there too. It was really between Wacha, Puig and Seager for me and I think they all went consecutively..

I took a bit of chance and went after another BJ pitcher in Smoral. He was hurt last year, but the guy is huge, so there's some projection to go along with his sleeperness. We'll see.
I was looking to take the Reds first rounder Nick Travieso, but that pick seemed so boring.

it's strange, I think I dislike every Cuban in the MLB but now I have 2.

Made a little trade today. Wade Davis for a 2nd round Milb pick. It might not work out, but with the roster crunch coming, I was probably going to drop him (or he'd be the last guy I kept). Maybe I could have gotten more, but I needed to clear some space and I didn't want to take any players back in return.

I'm in the same position with Arrieta, Wood and Bass.
